Potluck & Business Meeting – Sunday, July 30th

-      Everyone is welcome to the potluck following Sunday school time. Meat and table service will be provided. Please bring a side dish, salad, or dessert. After the potluck we will hold our annual business meeting.

-      All ministries please turn in your written update to Miriam McNabb by Tuesday, July 25th.

-      One of the things that will be covered is a vote for leadership change. Roberta Denny and Jonathan Seidel are terming out of the Deaconess and Deacon position. (Please thank them both for serving so diligently over the years.) Carleene Burrows and Bryan Doke have accepted the offer to fill those positions. Joel Barrow and Brad Kroll are up for a second term for Elder and Deacon.

Baptism Sunday will be August 6th, 1:30pm, at Camp Witness. If you are interested in being baptized, contact Pastor Mick or Pastor Scotty. Also, on July 23rd right after service, during the fellowship time, there will be a baptism class in the sanctuary.

Guatemala, Here We Come!

-  Our Guatemala Church family has some requests! If you would like to donate any t-shirt that has “Ainsworth” on it, markers, crayons, or puppets please talk to Jordan Nuffer, (402) 760-1595.

-  The winter missions trip to Guatemala is tentatively set for January 24-30, 2018.  Mark your calendars!  The cost will be approximately $2,000 per person.

-  So…the missions team also would like to add that if you don't have your passport, you should get one!

Attention Shoebox Shoppers!

July and August are the BEST months to stock up on SCHOOL SUPPLIES for shoeboxes!  Notebooks, crayons, markers, coloring books, pencils and sharpeners, stickers and scissors are all awesome things to include in a shoebox.  Remember that liquids are not allowed, including glue, but glue sticks are fine.  If you purchase extra supplies to donate to Operation Christmas Child, there’s a drop off box in the kitchen.  Thanks for your help in sharing the love of Jesus with children around the world!

Games, Giggles, & Girlfriends

Thursday, July 27th ~ 7:00-9:00 pm

All ladies are invited to join us for an evening of games, fun, and fellowship. Please bring a snack or appetizer to share. Childcare will be provided.

Make sure to pick up a copy of “Connect Deeper” in the fellowship area. A weekly Personal Growth Study from today’s sermon, designed for use by one or more people.

Cleaning Party!

Although we do not yet know the date that Matt Meister and his family will be moving to Ainsworth, we are putting together a crew to clean their future home. If you would like to add your name to the list, please stop by Connect Central. You will be contacted with details, once they become available.
