Fireside Chat Evenings

Fridays, 6:00 pm @ the Brockman’s

A great chance to relax by the fire and chat with others.

Attention Shoebox Shoppers! 

Keep your eyes open for any clothing items like t-shirts, shorts, dresses, socks and underwear.  Our sizes range from size 2 through size 14 for both boys and girls.  We could also use flip flops, combs, brushes, pretty hair accessories, and clothespins in October. 

We appreciate all the new items we’ve received for Operation Christmas Child donations so far.  It’s time to start packing!


Make sure to pick up a copy of “Connect Deeper” in the fellowship area. A weekly Personal Growth Study from today’s sermon, designed for use by one or more people.

Fall Carnival

Tuesday, October 31st

6:00-8:00 pm

This year we will again be hosting the Fall Carnival right here at Ainsworth Evangelical Free Church. We are going to space with a black light and space theme! Dress to GLOW! Come for a night of candy, prizes, games and lots of fun! Help us to get the word out on this awesome night for our community to come and experience the love of Jesus Christ overflowing through our lives and love for them!

Here are a few things to know about...We need candy! Lots of candy! Please drop off bags of candy in the box in the fellowship area. We need YOU! Please sign up in an area to serve with us on the sign up sheet next to Connect Central to let us know where you would like to serve!  We need game attendants, greeters, decorators, set up and clean up help, and more!!! Please know that even if you do not have a specific area of serving, we need YOU to help us to welcome our community! We are asking that you would begin now praying for the gospel to be shared clearly and boldly for the salvation of the children and families attending!

If you are interested in helping in children's ministry, this is a great way to get involved. Non-teaching AND teaching roles available - check out the types of positions we will need filled at Connect Central or call Janelle at 402-989-2076 to learn more!


See You at the Pole!

Wednesday, September 27th, is See You at the Pole. Students in grades seven through 12 are invited to meet at the Nazarene Church at 7:00 am. They will go from there to the flagpole at the school to pray, then back to the church for breakfast before school starts. All seventh through 12th graders are invited.

Monthly Men’s Breakfast meets the last Thursday of the month from 6:00 am to 7:00 am. This month it is the 31st.  Every male is welcome! Invite someone! There will be a free will offering bucket at the breakfast.


Moving Day!

Pastor Matt and his family will be in Ainsworth this Tuesday. Sign up at Connect Central to help them unload the moving truck.

High School Youth Group will start September 6th! We will meet Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the High School youth room (west wing of the church). Paul and Janelle Carpenter will lead a short large group time before splitting into boys/girls Bible studies. Let us know you are interested, to make sure we have enough materials - you can call/text Paul at 402-760-0101 in the evenings or Janelle at 402-989-2076 during the day to let them know!

August is one of the BEST months to stock up on SCHOOL SUPPLIES for shoeboxes!  Notebooks, crayons, markers, coloring books, pencils and sharpeners, stickers and scissors are all awesome things to include in a shoebox.  Remember that liquids are not allowed, including glue, but glue sticks are fine.  If you purchase extra supplies to donate to Operation Christmas Child, there’s a drop off box in the kitchen.  Thanks for your help in sharing the love of Jesus with children around the world!
